Opal is the dowager matriarch of our herd. Stately and calm like her given name, she is a silent but strong type. We love her strong barrel, fleece coverage, and gentle, watchful leadership style. While she is in no discomfort, she is not show-quality as her front knees are turned out, which gives her a bit of a funky run that we will breed to correct in offspring. We're excited for her strong dam-raising skills that we hope she passes on to any daughters she may birth before her retirement.
